History
Thank you for taking a moment
to let me introduce you to paper service plus. We are a privately
owned retail party store and more, located at 1419 North Riverfront
Drive, Mankato, Minnesota. paper service plus began as
Paper Service Company in Mankato in 1965. The company provided
the southern Minnesota area with an array of paper and industrial
products ranging from paper towels and tissues, food service
disposables, commercial packaging supplies, cleaning and maintenance
products, office and computer papers and more.
In
1991, Paper Service Company expanded its facilities to include
a retail party store and renamed this division, paper service
"plus". With the retirement of the founding family, the business
was sold in recent years to two separate, yet partnering, owners.

We
are in the business of selling fun, can it get any better? I
used to say that life should be planned from one vacation to
another, but I think one party to another may be just as
satisfying.
After many years of corporate management in the manufacturing
field, and a couple years as a provider of accounting and
human resource services to small business, paper service plus
gave me the opportunity to reach that "American Dream"....
owing your own business.

With
five daughters, three step-sons, sons and daughters-in-law,
five grandchildren and one husband, the savings on party supplies
alone should have been worth it, the true value has been the
opportunity to work with great employees and to serve good
people like yourself. Our busy, hectic lives don't allow us
the freedoms we once had to stop, shop and create the memories
for our family and friends, thus the internet. I invite you

Staff:
To round off our team are Carolyn, Kasey
, Amanda (not pictured) and Jennifer. Each of these special
people bring their own talents to paper service plus. In addition
to purchasing and store displays, Carolyn is hands down the
most crafty person on staff. She continually presents us with
new ideas in printing, stamping and table decorations. Her own
creations are offered for sale in the store, including Fabri-Pins,
Greeting Cards and Gift Bags. Carolyn is one of the few crafters
whose talents garner her an invitation to major craft shows.
Kasey, Amanda and Jenny each share in the responsibilities of
balloon creations, customer service, deliveries and keeping
our store in tip top shape. With our recent acquisition of the
Qualatex Bow Making machine, Kasey has added an elegant flair
to our table decorations with bows as the base. Although, as
a high-school student her hours are limited, Amanda's bubbling
personality is a nice welcome to any customer... and Jenny,
who has just recently joined us, is still learning all about
